PT Barata Indonesia (Persero) is a state-owned company engaged in Manufacturing, EPC & Foundry. The company was established in 1971, under the name of PT. Barata Metalworks & Engineering as a merger between PN Barata, PN Sabang Merauke, and PN Perida.

In the beginning, the head office of PT Barata Indonesia was in Surabaya with total area 6.7 Ha at Ngagel street, but from time to time this area was growth to solid downtown.
Considering for development to the future expansion where we required the availability of broader area, PT Barata Indonesia decided to relocate all of it facilities to Gresik in 2004 up to 2005 with available area 22 Ha.

Currently we are opening positions as follows:

Design Engineer (DE)

Requirements:

• Education S1 majoring in Mechanical/Metallurgy Engineering with min GPA 2.75
• Preferably form reputable PTN
• Preferably experienced in relevant field
• Min TOEFL score 450
• Understand Engineering Drawings, 3D AutoCAD, and Design Calculation
• Understand Engineering English

PPC Engineer (PE)
Gresik, Cilegon | Closing Date : 05 December 2011
Requirements:

• Education S1 majoring in Mechanical/Metallurgy Engineering with min GPA 2.75
• Preferably form reputable PTN
• Preferably experienced in relevant field
• Min TOEFL score 450
• Understand Engineering Drawings, PPC / PPIC, Procurement & MS Project software
• Understand manufacturing production process

Quality Engineer/Inspector (QE)
Gresik, Cilegon | Closing Date : 05 December 2011
Requirements:

• Education S1 majoring in Mechanical/Metallurgy Engineering with min GPA 2.75
• Preferably form reputable PTN
• Preferably experienced in relevant field
• Min TOEFL score 450
• Understand the procedure, code, test/inspection in QC
• Certify as WI / WE is an added value

Accounting Staff (AS)

Requirements:

• Education S1 majoring in Mechanical/Metallurgy Engineering with min GPA 2.75
• Preferably form reputable PTN
• Preferably experienced in relevant field
• Min TOEFL score 450
• Understand the database, management & financial reports, budgets preparation & taxes
• Able to use MS Office
