Universitas Brawijaya campus located in the city of Malang, East Java, with a location easily accessible by public transport. Campus is very beautiful because of the many trees and supported by the cool air of Malang city. History proves the existence of Malang as the education city where UB grow and thrive. This does not happen by itself but as a historical process that is inseparable from the triumph of East Java in the past.
When inaugurated as state university, Universitas Brawijaya has only five faculties namely Faculty of Law, Faculty of Economics, Faculty Ketatanegraan and Ketataniagaan (FKK is an extension of the FAN and the current name is the Faculty of Administrative Sciences - FIA), Faculty of Agriculture and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry (FKHP) . FKHP then split into two faculties in 1973, the Faculty of Animal Husbandry (Husbandry) located in the Universitas Brawijaya and the School of Veterinary Medicine under the auspices of the University Press. Faculty of Engineering (FT) was established in 1963 by PTIP Decree number 167 of 1963 dated October 23, 1963.

- Minimum GPA 3.50 (S3), 3.25 (S2), and 3.00 Accredited A (S1)
- Minimum GPA for whom majoring in General Medicine, Nursing, and Nutrition are 3.00 (S1), 3.00 (Profession), and 3.25 (S2)
